Airdrop
A marketing campaign that distributes a specific cryptocurrency or token to an audience via wallets
Alpha
Early investment advice or information that puts you ahead of the game.
Blockchain
A sequence of blocks, or units of digital information, stored consecutively in a public database. The basis for cryptocurrencies eg. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche
BTFD
Buy the f’ing dip, when a crypto price is dropping hard, that’s the time to buy in.
BUIDL
Build useful stuff, when crypto is dipping, building useful stuff proves that it’s still available.
Burn
NFTs or coins are considered “burned” when they have been purposely and permanently removed from circulation.
Core Team
A team which is dedicated to the goals of the company and is working towards its betterment. In charge of guild operations and other business-related ventures. Creates, implements, and manages key guild features for the benefit of the guild. Proposes questions to DAO and votes.
Crypto
Cryptocurrency, a digital currency that is secured by cryptography, which makes it nearly impossible to counterfeit or double-spend.
DAO
A decentralized Autonomous Organization isa a method of governance where rules are encoded as a computer program that is transparent, controlled through votes of a distributed group of organization members rather than a single entity.
Dividends
A percentage of the funds gained by the treasury sent to KATC Token Stokers and to the Core Team. Most dividends sent to the core team are used to reinvest, build and to progress the guild further.

ERC20
Simple interface that allows for the creation of tokens on Ethereum that can be re-used by other applications, from wallets to decentralized exchanges.
GameFI
Refers to Play-to-earn blockchain games that offer economic incentives to players. Typically, players can earn cryptocurrency and NFT rewards by completing tasks, battling other players, and progressing through the different game levels.
MAXI
Maximalist, someone who believes that one crypto is the only viable one by far and predominantly invests in it.
Metaverse
The collective term for all the elements that make up virtual worlds, including the ecosystem of people and objects that form economies within those worlds.
Mint
The creation of a new NFT token, turns a digital file into a crypto collectible or digital asset.
NFT
Non fungible tokens are used to create verifiable digital scarcity, as well as digital ownership, and the possibility of asset interoperability across multiple platforms.
Nodes
A ledger that maintains record of transactions within a blockchain.
NonFi
(Non-Profit Finance) To be used for profit funds towards non-profit utilities in real world. To engage in profits and donation at the same time.
Play-to-earn
A term to describe games in which the players can generate real-world rewards for their in-game activities. These games are typically limited to NFT-based blockchain games as they rely on the rewards being transferable on an open market.
Sharing
Splits a blockchain company’s entire network into smaller partitions, knowns as shards. Each shard is comprised of its own data, making it distinctive and independent when compared to other shards.
Staking
Putting your tokens in to serve as a validator to the blockchain and receive a reward.
Token
A representation of an asset, can be held, traded, or staked to earn interest.
Token Stakes
Anyone who actively stakes a set amount of KATC Tokens. Holds a voting percentage within the DAO. Actively participates in the DAO, or delegates part or all their vote.
Treasury
Holds all funds earned by the guild that the guild has earned through its direct operations.
Wallet
A place to store crypto assets
White/Allow list
A list of addresses that get early and guaranteed access to mint NFTs at a specific date and window of time.
Zero Knowledge Proof
Is when a prover convinces the verifier that he has correctly executed some computations on secret data, without disclosing the secret.
